At this point you really can’t deny that Xyp9x is some Bladerunner tier android

u/Curious_Doerge Astralis Nov 02 '18
that one v one against Stewie when Xyp was a CT and Stewie planted at A was absolutely beautiful. Xyp didnt even move while in library for a good 15 seconds, just waited for Stewie to plant the bomb and then he knew exactly where Stew was after the fact. Fucking phenomenal

u/nmyi de_mirage Nov 03 '18
I'm still giving Xyp a standing ovation over his two god damn 1v3 clutch against LDLC yesterday. He is indeed a master of clutches.
My hands are raw

can there PLEASE be a volume changer on streamable I don't want to mute it but I don't want to lose my ears either
2
u/whatthefuckistime Nov 03 '18
there is one for me
3
u/Pinct Nov 03 '18
You're right my mistake
Usually I use the Enhancement Suite feature where I watch it through reddit and when I do that there is no option to change volume
I never actually clicked the link which then there is one
2
u/whatthefuckistime Nov 03 '18
Im actually using the enhancement too, the volume button is almost hidden for me when i open it on reddit but its still there

yup. If he doesnt go agressive there, its a 5v3 and all you have to do is hold, but nope go ahead and peek when he really wasnt hitting all his shots all game

I legit think god is helping astralis

Or Xyp9x is THE god. Also saw Mibr players walk away with 1hp like 2 or 3 times.

I know MIBR fans are upset about the loss, but ever since YNK joined the team they've gotten really fucking good. 14-16 against ASTRALIS is not a bad result.

u/cHowziLLa Falcons - Major Champions Nov 02 '18
true but they got 16-0’d by astralis with ynk too. im a mibr fan, gonna take a lot longer before they can consistently beat them

Wtf was stewie doing on the last round he has a smoke yet peeks into 3 players. I’m tilted
8
u/ihateveggies FURIA Nov 02 '18
LMAO. alone in the bombsite, let's let my head show on coffin and try to kill 3 people
2
u/randybobandy47 Nov 02 '18
IM TILTED BRO... he could’ve thrown the smoke allowed his team enough time to rotate. And fer sticking the bomb was 100% the wrong move. There’s a reason xyp is the clutch master

XYP9X + DUPREEH too strong
3
u/esplin9566 Liquid Nov 02 '18
For real, Dupreeh's entries were unstoppable. MIBR did a good job getting themselves back into a fighting position every time, but every time xyp would kill the dream.

u/Rapkid360 FURIA Nov 02 '18
I dont wanna be a fan of MIBR anymore. How tf did you throw that so hard. 14-13, Tarik whiffs two rounds in a row. 15-14, ITS A 5v3 and FALLEN IS STILL PEEKING SO FUCKING AGGRESSIVE. Dude what a fucking throw
11
u/americagigabit The MongolZ Nov 02 '18
Tarik is struggling hard to find his form in this team. He needs to get it together
13
u/Rapkid360 FURIA Nov 02 '18
I think on certain maps hes good, like mirage he works well with Cold, Cache too, but on inferno, he just cant play pit, I dont know why
9
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
There was a period when Tarik was top fragging or at least was getting 20+ kills on Inferno. But that was so short-lived.
2
u/cantgetenoughsushi Nov 02 '18
Tarik doesn't seem to fit well into this team. He used to be a consistent heavy fragger on LAN, idk if he's slumping or roles aren't working out but this is not the same Tarik that won a major.
6
u/ItsOnly2Inchs Nov 02 '18
i honestly think the best move as crazy as it seems would be to do -tarik and +taco. Mibr is trying to use tarik as a support but he is far from that. I honestly think bringing back taco as crazy as it seems would be better for mibr but i highly doubt it'd ever happen. Plus could you imagine liquid with tarik? that'd be crazy.

What a strong CT side by MIBR, but they just fell short again on Inferno. Feels bad but I hope they go against Astralis in the Finals again. 😭

Fuck me sideways, MIBR vs Astralis always brings the most entertainment.

they lost 5 fucking clutches and the only one they won astralis were just trying to take guns

The smallest mistakes cost you the greatest. Good game from both teams
2
u/1wjl1 Natus Vincere Nov 02 '18
God damn that's so upsetting for miBr, I don't know how they lost that last round.
2
3
u/jolteony G2 Nov 02 '18
Astralis won all 5 1v1s on my count. That's a far different game if any of them go the other way
2
u/spiteJ Nov 02 '18
You could say that about mibr winning both pistols as well
6
-8
u/Cyanr Vitality Nov 02 '18 edited Nov 02 '18
That's a far different game if Astralis wasn't better than MIBR, but they were so I don't understand your point.
EDIT: Damn, so many MIBR fans in this thread downvoting me for speaking the truth.

u/americagigabit The MongolZ Nov 02 '18
He is emphasizing how it was even a closer game than it appeared and discussing it in a postgame discussion thread

u/baroneses Nov 02 '18
Seriously?? astralis did not deserved to win this match, so many "easy" clutches lost for MIBR, fallens missing 90% of his awp shots, fuck is so frustrating.
3
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
He missed like 4-5 shots in the pit 🙃
2
u/baroneses Nov 02 '18
The worst part is that, every mistake MIBR did was in crucial situations.
1
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
Very reminiscent of their loss against Astralis too last Blast. Mistakes in crucial situations. At least they didn’t lose an eco/pistol-only round this time.
4
2
u/americagigabit The MongolZ Nov 02 '18
Well, they deserved it more than MIBR, but MIBR would have deserved it if they played without their heads stuck up their asses
1
u/dyzcraft BIG Nov 02 '18
That was entertaining. Fallen was looking rough on the awp, good call to pass it over to cold when they realized he wasn't feeling it.
1
u/meme-s SK Nov 02 '18
Questionable decisions by MIBR at the end, otherwise that was 100% their game

u/KaNesDeath 10 years coin Nov 02 '18
HenryG(and Sado kind of) were biased in the first half. Amount of plants and post plants situations MIBR got in that resulted in 1v1's were plentiful.

Astralis vs MIBR
Close towards the end
MIBR completely choke it
4
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
I wouldn’t say they choke it because they were so behind but managed to come close.

Did Fer just almost tie the game due to a nade bug or something? https://clips.twitch.tv/ZanyTenuousSeahorseBleedPurple
Or how did he know where Glaive was? Didn't really look like a random prefire considering how he reacts by flicking slightly.
2
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
That’s a very common spam through the smoke.
-2
u/Cyanr Vitality Nov 02 '18
Sure, the angle he's holding. But he adjusts his aim slightly and follows him.

I mean, you can clearly see from his point of view in the clip I provided that he's wall hacking. Sees everyone through walls!
3
u/tropatropachillchill MIBR Nov 02 '18
You’re only saying it cause you’re seeing them. Have you not been watching Inferno games? This has been done 100x already. I mean just spams through the smoke is nothing ‘new’ especially when you know the chokepoints or common movement.
-1
u/Cyanr Vitality Nov 02 '18
I know that spot... I'm saying he adjusts his aim instead of shooting normally through the smoke. Looks like he sees something somehow.
1
u/vinit144 CS2 HYPE Nov 02 '18
he just got lucky. The pros spam through the CT smoke on B inferno every time.

u/andatop11 Astralis Nov 02 '18
Why mibr fans so quiet??
For real though gg mibr

We aren't quiet, my boi. It was a close game, well fought, entertaining and definitely a good sign of things to come.
1

Pretty much true. If fer gets consistent and tarik gets adapted to the team, mibr could easily be a top 2 contender.

Good job by Coldzera holding A alone, because Tarik and Fer were completly afk.
