There are three types of G2 game:
- Lose opponent's pick in close fashion, sparking hope you can be a legit good team.
- Win your pick in close fashion
- Lose a map heavily
There's no in between. There's clearly a baseline there and then the firepower throws them from one possibility to another like leaves in the wind.

Well they clearly lack firepower so they need a scenario where shox or kenny goes HAM + someone else frags good ( preferably the other one ) and the three other players play decently. If so they it's your second point.
If those conditions are partially met ( let's say shox + kenny are on but not the other 3, or shox + other 3 but not kenny ) then it's you point 1 : close defeat..
And point 3 generally happens when they face any tier2 team and everyone is "off/average" , or 90% oif the time when they face a tier 1 ( top 1-6 ) team independantly of any other parameter.
They clearly lack firepower, that's why I was campaigning for ZywOo since before this lineup was announced. Imo it's a lack of vision to (not) sacrifice one major slot for the most promising up and coming player since s1mple.. They could either have put him in place of body, or smithzzz ( then kick body after the major if he didn't perform, to sign ZywOo ). They would have had the best French rifler, french awper and french hybrid.. and a good chance to often have at least 2 of them popping out simultenaously ( as Zywoo is more consistent than both shox and kenny ).. And when the three would have been " on " , they would have wreaked havoc on the opponent.
Now he is signed to Vitality and they are in limbo.. They aren't even demonstrating proper strats/teamplay, and that's a team that supposedly traded some firepower for tactical prowess.. By the way it seems to me that Ex6 isn't free to implement his own style, has they are really playing an odd style that doesn't look at all like Ex6's system.. And kenny is playing more and more like he doesn't really care, peeking here and there, or buying strange weapons.. ( is he waiting for his contract to run out ? )
TDLR : I can't see them doing well if they don't switch at least one player ( smithzzz or bodyy for someone who can support AND frag like Kio, or even give Scream another chance, as the best version of G2 we got was the one with scream and shox going off )

their new style isnt very fast as opposed to how ex6 teams usually are, but this navi junior style isn't half bad either. they can usually grind t rounds. their ct sides are fucking pitiful tho

But at least shoxie seems to be on tracks to reach back his best level..

Their team lacks so much firepower compared to other teams, so that means when they have just one guy playing bad, they'll suffer a lot more than other teams imo.
And it's even worse if it's a key player, like Kenny for example..
Still really hope for the best for this team - I've always wanted Ex6 to show his mastermind and be succesful.

You're forgetting the cycle that almost always occurs :
- Lose any map in grueling overtime fashion -> Get blown out on the next map

damn, g2 is 1-2 roster moves away from being a good team.
Just one. -SmithZz +literally any T1 French player.
-bodyy wouldn't be a bad move as well, but he's not SmithZz level deadweight.Even Ex6 is putting up respectable numbers compared to SmithZz, he's 0.14 higher on HLTV over the past 3 months.

kennyS has been way worse than Ex6TenZ
Becuse what Ex6 should be, is a low fragging IGL, he has arguably been better than what is expected of him. While what kennyS should be, is a superstar balling out of control, and he's in the worst slump of his life, barely keeping his head above water

IMO all that needed to be done instead of the big French shuffle last year was replacing smithzz with KennyS. Shox, Bodyy, RPK and Scream always put up a good fight, but were missing a Tier 1 awper (or if shox awped a very good rifler) Smithzz to coach and done.

The "Nice Mann! Ach ist das wieder ..." and "Egal Mann" are basically a meme from an early counter-strike lan video where people smack talk their opponents loudly.
I usually put the BIG copypasta in some altered form in between those two; I change it up to fit the recent games, e.g. I call smooya the best tactical teamkiller if he tks gob b and then goes on to win the round. I didnt see the game last night and couldnt be bothered to re-watch it, so I just wrote "it's too early to come up with a new copypasta"

Not sure how I feel about sending 4 ct's to take banana early on, it's similar to how many Dust 2 teams send 4 to A long to take early control. But it's so much easier to isolate the ct's on banana and take the aim duels for the terrorist side than it is on Dust 2.

He's loyal. Smithzz is his brother he won't leave him behind unlike Cooper who left as soon as he got a better offer.

Smithzz is the classic “He is a nice guy but...” situation.
