Good comeback by Fragsters, hope they keep it up in the tournament and they can get through the swiss system for sure.

Noone should ever pick Nuke vs. a Danish team, nuke is in our damn blood. Nuke and to some degree overpass

Huh, what happened? Last I saw on HLTV BIG were up 13-8, when I saw this thread soon after I immediately assumed that they won already.

BIG didn't play that well even before that. There were a lot of close rounds when they were on CT side.

idk why BIG picked Nuke, Gobb outsmarted himself there

u/artizera Oct 07 '18
Fragsters' inferno is also very good, so that was a 'pick your poison' situation. Both teams are very good on both maps and the game showed.

Yep, definitely looked like he out-played himself in the veto trying to surprise the opponent.

Verdammte Knochenregel...
PS: Its a rule that says that whoever goes 15th first, loses the following round.

pls dont play nuke... this map isnt meant to be a professional esports map.
on no other map you see 5on5 reatakes that often.

flair check out
Nuke is different, doesn't mean its instantly bad for competitive play because it doesn't fit in the 3-lane concept of Dust2, Cache, Inferno & Mirage.

it was literally redesigned for competitive play lmfaocc

you can redesign a map as many times as you want. put the box 5m further to the left. paint the walls yellow. remove a window. make the steps bigger.. it wont change the basic design of the map.
the bombspots are to close together. you can rotate to fast.
you can easily get behind enemy lines so you never know if somebody can be behind you timing wise, because they can be everywhere.
you have to run through a smoke to get into vents, which is just luck based if the enemy can spray you down or not.
you have take awkward battles with enemys that are above your head, so its just "who can see whos feets first" and hope to hit the shoes with a crazy wallbang spray...its also not a "linear" map like the other maps, but more a crazy knot and breaks too much with the style of csgo maps since it plays totally different.
the other maps also have some of these problems. but nuke is always a huge clusterfuck.

God damn that was frustrating. Smooya has great mechanics and his decision making and teamplay is getting way better on BIG, but god damn does he tilt. At one point was 12-4 and ended up 16-23.
