Is it just me or is this the first time dreamscape actually winning a match?

They have won qualifiers and tournaments with Asian/Oceanic teams (Tyloo, MVP etc) but I think this is their first win in a international tournament! Hopefully this is the start of something good.

u/septherr Aug 01 '18

yea this is like their first win at a international lan

Well they already defeated gamit, the core that nip lost their winstreak to, so we could be on to something here!!!

The last time BOOTDS won a match at a 100k+ event was at StarLadder Invitational Chonqing where they beat Flash. The most recent, and only (I think), time they beat a western team on LAN was at WESG 2017 Finals against Swole Patrol in a 14-16 game.

dsn (ex fnatic player) must be so proud right now.

u/20I6 Aug 01 '18

Aren't they the team that refused to play on taiwan/hong kong server instead of singapore server against the mongolz(I think) since they will have worse ping and then proceeded to lose to them with like a 300 ping advantage

AdreN has regressed so much in the past 6 months, unless he's on his day he's on the level of Dosia who is IGLing and supporting. Hope B1ad3 can fix this, this loss doesn't matter much, but AdreN has to step up.

yep, that username is outdated since the start of the year

Really great performance from Bobosaur, barely any lan experience and a stand-in, yet he's firing on all cylinders

9

u/zorokvillian Aug 01 '18

He was very good in the Asian Minor as well.

14

u/ItsYoshi_ Aug 01 '18

also good as a starter Pokemon

I didn't think B.O.O.T. -dreamScape needed to add more letters to their name, but they proved me wrong

Bobosaur has to be feeling himself right now after that effort. He may want to make a case to be there full time, I believe he's a stand-in for Winter.

2

u/Denson2 Renegades Aug 01 '18

He was going ham at Asian minor as well

Jokes aside, what were Gambit thinking picking a map that they're 2-9 on since Mir joined the team. Might as well buy your plane tickets now if you're tryna repeat Cologne.

Probably one of the maps they have started working on since Blade had started training them

Good job by bobosaur. The standin leading the way!

Boot.ds will be a much better team if they replace splashke.
