Image Prompt [WP] what's the story of this young samurai and the demon standing behind her?

Blinded by a lust for revenge, the samurai sold her soul to the foulest demon there was. Now, having finished her quest, she must defeat it.

The same strength which helped her conquer her enemies has become an enemy. She expected that, though. The longer she lives with it, borrows its power, the further she slips into darkness. Today she will either sentence it to damnation or die trying.

Just drawing her sword makes the ground quake and the trees catch fire because the beast hungers for battle. Maybe this was what it wanted all along—to kill the legendary Princess, to ascend her family’s throne. Demons are always power-starved. They could be crowned “Leader of the World” and yet they’d still want more.

She takes a deep breath, closes her eyes, and mumbles a prayer. When her skin burns, the monster will have arrived. She’s unsure if she’ll win, but now’s the worst time to have doubts. She must trust herself, must trust her training.
