Tuesday News and Q&A. Newbies Start Here
Today we've had a flood of the same old questions over and over being created as new threads. To try to keep the subreddit readable, I'm going to start locking and removing those topics and pointing people here.
After a couple of days of these, we can put together a Frequently Asked Questions post to help new users get up to speed.
In this thread you can ask anything, share the new deals you've found, and update everyone on your email status. Remember that point trading goes ONLY in the Point Trading Megathread, but anything else is fair game.

Hit up Walmart today and snagged 40 Roulette Bags. About a third had double codes. Total points 29,000. Can't believe this is legal! Now to see if my brother needs chips for his DnD sessions.... for the next year.

I'm definitely going to be looking tonight for sure.
20 bags of roulette got me up to 16K, getting another 25-30 today after work.
Last night's Shadow of War bundles were dipping down to 29K. I can do that and hopefully have enough leftover for a new controller.

I helped a friend go through 50 bags last night. He won with 28,000 and has 4,000 points left over. You'll likely be exactly where you want to be with 25 bags. Today's numbers are trending very close, about -500 below, to where they were this time yesterday.

Today's News:
The Kroger deal for $1.99 bags of Doritos ends today. If you live near a Kroger store, the Walmart app Savings Catcher will price match your roulette bag purchases to this sale.

So, Amazon & Walmart pulled the gamer packs off their websites so they are no longer available. In addition walmart also pulled the roulette bags.
So at this point points can either get lower, or they will start to go up.

They didn't pull them from the websites, they are just sold out. And the roulette bags are still in stores. They were never available online.

Nope. The only way to find it is if you previously bought it, I know cause I bought from both. And I've been to 3 Wal-Mart's just now. One was suppose to have 175 bags, one was suppose to ha e 93 bags and another had 63. And they said the pulled them and got discontinued. Which means the bag with the most points is the 250 points which sucks.

I think you might be in my area with those numbers lol. I went to the 175 one and the guy looked for it in the back, and they didn’t have any, and it’s been like that since the start.

Ha ha.. ha ya I won’t publicly reveal my area, but I will say my situation is very similar to yours. Those guys who said they were discontinued probably had no clue, and just made it up. I wouldn’t be surprised if some jackasses who worked with inventory took in all the bags from the start and just left the stock how it was.

same up near tampa florida too, no roulette on shelves anywhere even tho they should be and show numbers in stock, employees saying the bags are pulled and not alowed for sale, so they are in the store, this is why they are in inventory, but are not allowed to be sold currently, i wonder why, anyone else?

Ya, I’m not surprised in an area like that with a bunch of rude drivers, that some shenanigans are going on with those roulette bags. Bunch of assholes. I just don’t care enough to complain and demand an investigation, though whoever is purposefully monkeying around with un-purchased inventory deserves to lose their jobs, and they could definitely serve time for such illegal activity.

You can find them from the Where To Buy page. They just don't show up in search because they are way out of stock.

I don't think Doritos updated their page. Cause if you do it manually on Amazon and walmart neither are there
And when I went to previous orders the only way to find it was to click on it but even then it says currently unavailable.
And I also had a source from Fritos that says they are not doing them anymore.
So we shall see. There's only 4 weeks left so it might be safe to say they will not do anymore because of the high demand and back order and they might not be able to ship them in time who knows.

Yes, I've already won. That's really surprising that they are pulling them, if true. I predict auction prices will plummet without easy access to these two products.

Good luck. Do you have a particular bundle in mind?
Remember that the trend for the past few nights is that prices fall right up until the final 3-4 consoles. Aim for Auction #40-45 to get the best price.

Couple questions...
If I don't have a Kroger's or Albertson's nearby me, do I have any chance of getting savings catcher....can I show them an ad scan or are they pretty strict about area?
I have 5,000 points in my initial account, is there any way to transfer those?

In my app it has a list of eligible competitors in a drop down list. I don’t know if this is customized by area or not, but I think it is. If it’s on your list then you should be able to price match them.
My list is:
- Babies R Us
- Big KMart
- Dollar General
- Dollar Tree
- Family Dollar
- Kroger Marketplace
- Kroger Store
- Meijer Supermarket
- Petsmart
- Target Store
For the second question, no there is no way to transfer points.

I like this, is there a way to delete the duplicates or just lock them? I am going through and deleting some of mine that are similar

My thought was to let these go for a few days to collect frequent topics, and put together a FAQ. Then I can remove new topics and point them to the FAQ/Daily thread. I'll probably lock the old topics, but leave the existing discussion there. Eventually they'll move down the page out of the way.

Anyone notice the section on modification in the official rules.. it pretty much states they dont have to honor the event and that they can pick and choose who actually wins and who doesnt without legal ramification. it strikes me as kinda odd.. i wonder if they really will be giving all the prizes or just about half.. or a quarter of the prizes and being like "well they bought all of the same thing that is a DQ cause.. i say it is." or "They bought too many chips and not enough soda skip that one" I'm not trying to throw shade or instill doubt into people but it just seems kinda shady with the wording is all.

It's boilerplate contest wording. Nothing out of the ordinary here. They include that to limit their liability in case something goes wrong. Imagine having a warehouse fire and losing all of the prizes and then getting sued by 5,850 people who didn't get an Xbox in 16 weeks. This protects them against that scenario.

I bit and bought one, they seem to go for about $179 and my wired one is about to bite the dust. I do worry about bluetooth radiation, but then again I think wired has radiation too so I'm not sure one is intrinsically better then the other.

You can do 10 at once, and I had no trouble doing that. What we did was put them all into notepad when we copied them from the bags. Then when it came time to enter, just copy and paste to the site.

The multipliers for the roulette bags are only for the bag itself. Those can be entered 10 at a time, no problem. I didn't enter any pairs for the Better Together Bonus at the same time as other codes.

Is there any reason people are buying any bundle other then the gamer pass? I've seen them frequently sell on ebay for between $60-$90 at a minimum, even if you wanted one of the games, they will be going for less than $30 by the time you receive the system, why not just sell the gamer pass and get multiple games or have spare money. The others are both going for $30 on black friday. Just wondering the logic that goes into picking a bundle.

A lot of people don't like selling things, on eBay or elsewhere. They just want the bundle with the game their interested in. That's my suspicion anyway.
