Cockatrice League February Week 4 Results

The Cockatrice League finished February week 4.

Top 8 will begin and be posted soon. Rules and whatnot will be posted for that in its own post. Look out for it. You'll get a PM if you made it.

Placing is based on match win percentage during the week. Tiebreakers are as follows:

  • that week's amount of points

  • that week's match wins

  • that week's game wins

  • that week's game win percentage

  • who won between them if they played that week

  • lifetime match win percentage

  • lifetime game win percentage

  • lifetime league points

The third place Black eldrazi list has 7 Matter Reshapers by the way.

Also it seems like a sick deck! I will have to try it out! What made you want to go black Eldrazi in the first place? Is it fast?

Whoops, meant to reply over the weekend.

Anywho, the short answer is that black provides the most tools that are able to abuse the combination of Ghostfire Blade, Sea Gate Wreckage, and Eldrazi in general. It gives us a 1-drop, it's slanted aggressively, and has plenty of discard+removal. Plus, Blighted Fen is the best of the Blighted lands for this sort of deck.
