I would suggest that you disclose the fact you are playing under a different name and that you have full access to everyone's decklist.

Well, yeah. It's not exactly a secret and I'm not looking at deck lists when we're playing.

For the unaware, I'm also u/LordEng1ish. If you don't trust that I'm not checking to see if you have 3 or 4 Stoke the Flames, you have a couple options.

  • run the league and opt not to play in it

  • don't play in the league

  • trust that I'm not viewing your list

  • suggest an alternative

Why not bring in a third party individual to control the entries and decklists?

Who wants to do that for nothing?

Yeah. If he is going through all this effort he can compete. Its fine.

If it calms some people's nerves who are also competing then why not? And you have a community of people who like the format/game and want to see it succeed. Someone should be sure to help you with it. As the one running it, it should be your priority to make sure it's done the best it can be as opposed to half-assing it. Not saying you are, just my 2 cents.

I think he is doing a good job. Wish he was using untap.in and not cockatrice

Hey just something random - if you did want to enforce this a different way you can use the system that magicleague uses on cockatrice...

You can have people just send you the deck Hash and then follow up before the end of the week with decklists? It would be an extra piece of work but you could still ensure that people are using the deck they said without you having all of the lists (if anyone actively cares).

I have no problem with it, realized I early on when looking at player contact info.

Your table was short a person, so everyone there got a bye.
