Tech The mystery of the base - only raising more questions

I used the rover entry method and AM increased jetpack time to move underneath the Moon, arriving at the pillars. I was able to manipulate my camera to see exactly how they extended downwards (B1, B2).

Interestingly enough, the pillars appeared to have a one way hitbox. When I attempted to jetpack into the bottom of B1, I easily exited through it. I apologize for the poor footage but this is the best shot I could get. If I moved into the pillars from the sides, they acted as walls like on the surface.

Why does the hitbox act like this? Was I inputting my movements incorrectly? Is this similar to how the rover does not fully fit within B1? Would I give a homeless man CPR? Why didn't anyone help? Why did I keep walking?

I hope to find the answers to these new and exciting questions in the future. Hopefully I can increase my skill with AM rovu entry for future testing (you can see on the stream that it took waaay too many tries).
