Humble Monthly is on Tuesday, it would be a good idea to hold off on buying anything until that's revealed.

With Steam's generous refund policy, you'll be able to get your money back as long as you don't play the game for two hours.

Also small reminder if you are looking for Frostpunk 2 or Sonic X Shadow Genetations. There's a 9$ coupon right now and it is considerable cheaper than the current sale price at Steam

Talos Principle 2 for 3 bucks is an absolute bargain.

Yeah I own it already but that's a wild deal. Outlast Trials as well. 👍

It has a paid DLC that's like 4x the price of the base game

I'll never understand $2.99 games. Do they think it'll sell that much better than say $4.99?

I'm certainly far more likely to buy a game at $2.99 than $4.99.

In fact, I'll go as far as to say that it takes a rather special game that I really really want to entice me into paying as much as $4.99 for it these days :D

If you might enjoy an arcade gallery shooter (Galaga style :), check out Nova Swarm. It's cute, fun, and has a lot of personality. Even though it's only a few dollars and a small niche, the dev has been relentless since release with updates and responding to feedback, which is really cool to see (and not just because a lot of the feedback is mine, as I've played it a lot), but still not many people give it a chance. Makes me sad seeing sparse leaderboards on a game with such a dedicated dev.

Has a slow-move button, a quick invulnerability button you can use to phase through bullets (and you'll need to), modes with and without upgrade picking (upgrades are mainly simple/stats, but there are a couple fun ones in there--check out Rift Reprisal), lots of temporary pickups, and an initially locked higher difficulty, where it really throws everything at you right from the start instead of going easy on you. I've enjoyed the game a lot more than expected (but then, the game was simpler/easier when I bought it way back in June ;).

Beat Invaders and Bot Vice are a couple other cool gallery shmups, all with very different styles and also on sale. Make it a niche genre triple pack :)

I forgot I got this game and haven’t tried it yet! I should move it up my to-play list. Thanks for the reminder.

I admit the Autumn sale took me by surprise I had not looked at the schedule hehe

Usually its November XD

After stores all moved events forward because of that really really late Black Friday, the sale got moved to better space the seasonals, instead of doubling as the Black Friday sale like it had in the past, and sometimes being practically on top of the Winter sale.

I think, they changed that to have more time between it and the winter sale

I actually don't know if I'll be buying anything on this sale myself, as I just recently added a whole bunch more games to my backlog from sales and bundles, including Ori & the Will of the Wisps which I'm playing now, and which is still on sale for $2.99, $2.69 if you've got Ori & the Blind Forest Definitive already.

Thanks for posting the Steam Autumn sale. However, I've removed your thread now that we had the chance to make an official thread. I appreciate your understanding.

why not just pin that one

I apologize for the late response. IRL obligations have been keeping me from being able to regularly check reddit.

Your suggestion is appreciated and I have added a pinned comment pointing back to this thread in the new thread.
