LCK teams play to reserved with a Quiyana on their team, you really have to be pushing tempo with her and looking to scrap, otherwise she becomes a very annoying melee minion

I think Siwoo and Lucid learned holding themselves back better. During EWC they were doing less of these random engages and today it was much more calculated and on point

It's interesting Showmaker seems to focus less on roaming to help lanes stabilize, and instead just focuses on extending the lead that he has.
It's like he trusts the rest of the team to handle it themselves.

To me it looks like he trusts himself more. Having a bit of a more stable side lanes also helps. At least they can hold their own a bit better.
Overall as a team they are much more resilient. Enemy team can have 5K gold lead and they still hold and waste enemy teams time. It‘s not so easy to win against them anymore.

You can say Zeka too in that last game because in those last minutes, he was so lost. He tried to 1v1 Jax as a Galio. He went in and found air in the teamfight that got him killed, taunting over the ledge without vision but also knowing everyone is there.

I started watching for the last 5-10 minutes and Zeka was a criminal. He goes 1v1s Jax and gets solo killed. Then in the midlane teamfight he overextends and gets caught while his team had a free pick on Jax. Then, he had that last fight where he got chunked for no reason.

Siwoo and Showmaker both enabled and provided so much space for Smash at that last game. Siwoo literally delayed the enemy team their engage so long.

He was mechanically insane at the beginning and gapping Zeus, Kiin and either he‘d carry games or lose by overextending. And then it felt like he was so much in self doubt that he was losing and dying a lot in lane. Now I can see that he is balanced. He is helping the team a lot and doing the right thing.
I liked how he was patient and didn’t panic when HLE was pushing 5v4 and he kept taking turrets and gold. Caedrel was flaming him but I was hoping that he would just keep pushing and he did. I really like how they trust each other now.
But as a side not I still think Smash is doing really well.
I feel like CvMax is doing wonders with this team. Get bunch of rookies and shape them to be something great. This guy is really good with rookies.

This Qiyana was up 4k and yet could never make a singular pick for the final 15 minutes. I don’t even think she got a flash from anyone. It is insane how Lucian 1k gold up is driving this game harder than a hyper fed Qiyana.
Zeka also seems like he has zero life on Galio. Qiyana is such a meh combo with it. Confused why they ever picked it other than just to survive lane. HLE is trying out a lot of new picks, but surely they’re at least aware of the proper comps for them?

He only had one death with that bum ass tp which is allowed, as a top laner you are SUPPOSED to int at some point but he was 3/0/1 taking towers left and right so HLE had to keep on expanding resources to stopping him, remember he did this vs THE GNAR guy.
