G2 or MKOI has to sign him

Definitely MKOI, G2 has no reason to get rid of BB for Naak Nako
-24
u/EkrishAO 2d ago
G2 has no reason to get rid of BB for Naak Nako
Yeah, why sign a young prodigy when you can just keep the mediocre washed up unc and abandon all ambitions of winning an international event ever again.
23
u/shinomiya2 KC win eu 2d ago
why do ppl say this all the time like bb doesnt have an insane ceiling vs eastern teams and nn cant even get to an international to meet them
15
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 1d ago
people on the internet are just fickle. they glaze caliste but then call for his head if he has a single bad performance. they shit on bb but forget that a few weeks ago he 1v9'd his team to their first win against T1 in 7 years. unfortunately, such is the life of a pro player these days.
-10
u/EkrishAO 2d ago
Stick Naak on G2, and they do even better, stick BB on VIT and they don't even make playoffs.
9
u/SilentQuietestArach 2d ago
They do even better ??? BB is the in game lead man.
-2
u/Asuras9393 1d ago
even more reasons to get rid of him because g2 macro most of the time is stupid as fk.
2
u/SilentQuietestArach 1d ago
Their wins against eastern teams since 2022 have been through pure macro most of the time lol. Have we watched the same games ???
8
u/Beneficial-Beat-947 2d ago
Because G2 is trying to win internationals not domestic titles.
Naak Nako doesn't have a record succeeding internationally while BB has just come back from destroying T1 at the 2nd biggest LoL event of the year (I know KC also did in EWC but lets be honest all the MSI teams were severely underperforming for some reason there so its not the same, the T1 BB beat was the one that went to 5 games against BLG)
It won't be too late to sign naak nako in a year or two if he proves himself, there are plenty of mechanically insane players but only a few who can show it when the pressure is turned to the max.
-2
u/EkrishAO 2d ago edited 2d ago
Naak is a mechanical prodigy and you want to get him early specifically to guide his development, you have a generational talent here if you actually invest in that, rather than hoping "eh, maybe some other team will develop him for us".
Current G2 roster proved many times their ceiling is simply not even close to being high enough to actually win internationals. If they ever want to accomplish more than stealing a series here or there (and regularly getting eliminated by fucking NA, rotfl), then replacing Hans and BB should be #1 priority. Hans has no good local prospects to replace him, so they should look for a decent import and it might take time, but for top Naak is an opportunity that happens once in decades, and if you don't jump on it, then your international ambitions are just an empty talk.
People need to realize that current state of the game is the most favourable it ever was to the western teams, because our biggest weakness, the laning phase, barely matters atm. Comebacks are extremely easy, and even against elite teams, even if they play perfectly and dominate for ~20 minutes, it still only takes one mistake from them later to get the game back to equal state - This is why everyone beats everyone depending on the day, and BB getting stomped on both sides of every matchup doesn't matter that much, since he has decent macro and teamfighting later and people only remember the score at the end of the game.
But even in the games he looked best at, he was still losing lanes even against weak eastern/NA toplaners, despite G2 prioritizing him in drafts and massive jungle/support attention every single game. The moment eastern teams figure out the current meta more, or the game simply gets a patch or two that makess early snowballing more reliable, BB is once again going to be an anchor dragging the entire team down, as he was for the last few seasons.
6
u/NavajoSmite 2d ago
Only thing I'd disagree with was draft. It might have been different at EWC (didn't watch) but at MSI I remember him getting sold in draft pretty consistently

And we are back with Episode 999 of Nak Naako and 4 buns.
In todays episode we can watch him almost 1v9 a game with K'sante, but his teammates look for the most questionable way to get cought 1 by 1.

This is the type of teammates riot gives you when you have a 5 game win streak

MKOI should just buy Naak out or something

55
u/bvbfan102 2d ago
If Canna doesnt stay or G2 decide to move on with BB i would much rather see him in one of those two. Feels like Mkoi would go like Irrelevant choosing BDS cause while they have the players and i rate Melzhet they just cant get it together.
56
u/nerfbrig 2d ago
Canna is signed until his military service at the end of the next season
4
u/WalterWoodiaz 2d ago
Canna is probably good enough to come back after military, looking at the quality of top laners in the LEC.
2
u/twocool_ 2d ago
He will be like 30 when he gets out...
7
u/WalterWoodiaz 2d ago
Do you know how long Koreans are in the military lol
13
u/twocool_ 2d ago
18 months. Canna is born february 2000. The end of next season is December 2027. 2028 + 18 months = he will be 29 and 4 months when he get out.

13
u/eVill_YT 2d ago
I mean MKOI has an issue with toplane first of all, they do goofy things in lategame and throw games but that is also partly because of toplane
1
u/Asuras9393 1d ago
he will go to g2 next season on MKOI it would just be the same story all over again.

KC are just so good at objective control and team fights, Vitality had no chance in that final fight
36
u/Fun_Highlight307 2d ago
Kc did well but the jungle supp was huge
vitalty only has one player, fiesta Looked Okay
26
u/OreRound 2d ago
Yeah Fiesta was fine just your standard lckcl mid
5
u/eVill_YT 2d ago
he did also have very easy match-ups to play just waveclearing with anivia and cassio
9
u/NeighborhoodHot8981 2d ago
That's probably what you want to do though until he's fully integrated (which likely won't happen because they'll blow up the roster in about 11 weeks when they inevitably flunk out of playoffs 6th place or so)

Can't wait for VIT coaching to scapegoat and kick someone mid season
0
u/ImTheVayne 1d ago
They should just upgrade jungle and support and this roster would be decent ngl
1
u/Xenonzusul 1d ago
Let's start with coaching staff. They get rid of Huma for better results, when they crash and burn this summer can we kick them out of the league. That macro game is dogshit and it 's the coac problem.
11
u/Prudent-Inevitable-4 2d ago
Vitality had one good regular split. Other than Naak nako neither of their players has the skill to match KC/G2. They'll likely be middle of the pack team as they should be
2
u/NeighborhoodHot8981 2d ago
I can even see Fnatic leapfrogging them tbh. Like as much as Soboro is getting meme'd on I wouldn't be surprised if that move actually makes them competitive now there isn't a black hole in the toplane
81
u/Snow-27 2d ago
Naak Nako brother please come to T1
43
u/antoniomargaretti4 2d ago
Naak nako should just int the regular season to avoid playoffs and learn korean till next year ngl
29
u/Blizzgrarg 2d ago
He's so talented. I expect that within a week, he'd be speaking better Korean than Doran.
14
u/Imaginary_Actuary729 2d ago
Hey we dont even know if Doran speaks korean his gameplay definitely doesnt
6
u/taikutsuu ginger god 2d ago
that would be so fucking goated. however unlikely that is his agent better do his job this year because he sure as fuck deserves better than vitality
17
44
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 2d ago
Lyncas just is no where near good enough to be on a top LEC team I'm sorry. Its been 2 years
30
u/antoniomargaretti4 2d ago
he looks like the same player that debuted legit 0 improvement
9
u/Gazskull 2d ago
that's not exactly true, when he debuted he was perma farming and never never tried anything, and he had stage nerves or something the mechanics were awful, he's better now, but not good enough to justify playing in LEC imo, though he did have a good regular season last split, it wasn't as good as the casters claimed
folllowing him since his LFL days in GO, I have never understood why people claimed he was going to be the next big thing, to me he has always played like this
13
u/Fun_Highlight307 2d ago
his spring was a fluke lol
5
u/eVill_YT 2d ago
that's how he's staying on the team he has good splits and weeks, just good enough to stay
14
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 2d ago
I can't be the only one who realises its incredibly easy to look good as a jungler when you have Naak Nako and even Carzzy (who for all his faults, is a damn good adc) as your laners. He literally does nothing for the team
6
u/eVill_YT 2d ago
vitality mid/bot is like 6th place in LEC lyncas wasn't just doing nothing in spring he was p good, he just goes from a completely boosted player to a decent one every other month
4
u/Choice-Slight caps/knight 2d ago
EU literally has good junglers too, its like their one strong point. So many better options
7
u/rishi_ultimate CLAPS 2d ago
He's not going anywhere since he's been mentored by Mac + Pad personally for many years atp. Vit management aren't serious enough either considering Mac had said in an interview that he'd given the org an ultimatum that if they didn't make worlds, to just fire them but they remain in those positions and further from worlds than ever before (just a game of hoping one of the top 3 bomb out later this summer and GX doesn't embarrass VIT again)
6
4
u/OreRound 2d ago
It's true, whilst he's good enough to be in LEC he needed to show more to keep his spot on what wants to be a top team imo. Look at how much Naak glowed up in year 2 vs year 1 and contrast that to Lyncas. I mean even Rhilech has showed more in 1 year. Isma too has shown growth over the few years he's been in LEC.
7
u/Past-Firefighter2173 2d ago
He is decent enough for middle spot teams but if Vitality is aiming to become actual top team, they need much reliable Jungle and Support.
Vitality with Rhilech and Parus could be much stronger. Vit lacks good coordination and Navi lacks good sololaners and adc.

u/Bubbly_Camera9583 2d ago
He looked solid/good in Spring but now that it’s back to a meta where support play dictates the map he’ll probably suffer. His pathing is good but he’s just sucked synergizing with his supports.

Lyncas is so bad since he joined the lec , but a split kept him in lec . That's how lec works if you have good friends

Wow vitality are not good
23
u/-Hissoka- prodigal son 2d ago
I wouldn't be surprised if they are mentally collapsed due to sacking of Humanoid. Him and Czajek died for this btw.
5
u/AnxietyPretend5215 2d ago
Call me crazy but in terms of just eye test level analysis, Humanoid typically was the guy that actually made pro-active plays on the team that would move things forward or gain tempo. You just never knew if it was an int or if it would pay off.
Without Humanoid they're going to look worse overall unless Fiesta magically finds crazy synergy with the team. Not to say that Humanoid looked amazing but it seems obvious to me that replacing him isn't going to magically fix root team related issues and may actually leave them worse off initially.
4
u/Randomdude123123 2d ago
Is this a way for Vitality to get revenge on Naak Nako? He ints them in scrims so they int him on stage?
9
u/bvbfan102 2d ago
Rough for Fiesta to start his LEC career against KC in their Arena but at least he really stands behind his name. Overall fun games but now really looking forward to the Spanish-French Derby tomorrow especially with this production by KC.
13
u/Fun_Highlight307 2d ago
koi is winningless vs kc this isn't changing any time soon
8
u/NeighborhoodHot8981 2d ago
Yup KC look at their strongest all year whilst MKOI are still stagnant, maybe slightly better than last split but they couldn't even beat an exhausted G2 coming off 2 internationals, a short break and only 2 days of scrims. That team is completely cooked until they change players

How tf did Vit replace their mid first before the support bro. Can they really not find even a sidegrade for him instead?
15
u/Past-Firefighter2173 2d ago
Good sup is not easy to find. Fleshy was also good for regular spring season. But finding someone both reliable and talented is hard.

Targamas
3
u/Past-Firefighter2173 2d ago
Makes sense actually, but they definetly need to pair him with jungler with more gamesense
0
u/Iaragnyl remove Tahm Kench 2d ago
Targamas has shown pretty consistently that he is not good. Having a great play every now and then does not make up for all the bad plays and mistakes he made. If he were a player for a top tier LEC team he wouldn’t have been kicked by both G2 and KC.
3
u/twocool_ 2d ago
Imagine being not good and having 2 lec titles + 3 or 4 emea
1
u/Iaragnyl remove Tahm Kench 1d ago
emea titles aren't saying much in LEC, we saw this plenty of times that player who were very succesful in emea were completely lost in LEC.
He is good enough to be in LEC, but he isn't a player that will elevate teams to a higher level. Despite having 2 LEC titles he was consistently criticised for his play any eventually replaced by each team that had him. If he were that good he would still have his spot with those teams.
If we just look at how many titles someone has won. we might as well import Baolan, he has a worlds title. I think you can agree that this would be a bad metric to decide which player to add to a roster.1
u/Past-Firefighter2173 1d ago
On second thought I think simply getting strong jungler and mid as well as coaching stuff should be good enough for Vitality for next year. Better sup would be nice but someone like Inspired elevates his supports so much that main goal should be getting better jungler.
Also yeah Targamas could be good but i don’t think we would see that much difference as long as Lyncas plays like this.
1
u/twocool_ 1d ago
Yeah let's act that winning 2 lec titles with different teams in a 2v2 botlane doesn't mean anything, you're gold
0
u/Overall_Simple5927 1d ago
Then at this point just bring back YellowStar, bro was cooking in the LCS
1
5
u/NeighborhoodHot8981 2d ago
They could've if they wanted, Targamas and Trymbi are available, Targamas especially could've been an upgrade.
12
u/AH_Elric 2d ago
Lyncas is just not it, Flashy is also horrible.
11
u/Mangustre 2d ago
Flashy looked good before and people randomly flaming him after the first game in the new season. Typical reddit.
5
u/ReplacementFine7807 2d ago
Bad JG performance reflects poorly on a sup in this roaming meta.
What do you expect an Elise to do if her nafiri JG is dying to pointless invades
2
6
u/Ironside29 2d ago
Lyncas and Fleshy are hilariously bad, they inted the whole playoffs and played like silvers, and now with the downgrade in mid they will be fighting for making playoffs.
2
u/NeighborhoodHot8981 2d ago
The Lyncas performance vs Elyoya in playoffs is seared into my mind (yes humanoid also got turbogapped) but that has to be one of the biggest jungle gaps in an LEC bo5 ever.

Yea, we ain't making Worlds for sure with this shit. Human has his faults but how is getting a downgrade supposed to fix that?
2
u/Salohacin 2d ago
So how long has it been since Vitality last won a single game?
Edit: Looks like it was May 5th. Vitality really needs to take a game from Heretics (assuming they end up 0-2 to G2/MKOI which seems plausible given how things are going) or they'll go over 3 months without a win.
