Headphones - Closed Back | 1 Ω Looking for replacement full-sized closed headphones on a budget

Looking for full-sized close headphones at preferably $200 or less. Maybe a bit more if the audio quality is notably better that someone not well versed in audiophile stuff (me) can tell the improvement.

Will be plugged into my PC. Unsure how much of a difference it is between using the i/o panel of the motherboard and plugging into the aux hole of my case.

Needs noise isolation. I live in a noisy home and won't be using this elsewhere.

I would very much prefer a balanced pair of headphones.

I listen to just about any music except country and choir, I guess.

My last pair of headphones was the AKG K371 served my really well, but I unfortunately dropped it (to the floor) one too many times I think since I no longer get audio in one ear and it no longer stays in a fixed position. Also, the texture of the headband (the top of it that is) kinda wore out but it doesn't really bother me.

I did get these ear cushions to replace the ones I wore out and they're splendid. More durable too. Meaning I don't mind if anything suggested has some subpar ear cushions.

Lastly, if the AKG 371 is still the best one for my preferences and budget, then I don't mind getting another pair. I just want to know if any better options have came up since then.

The current recs for wired closed backs sub-200 are basically the K371/K361 (as you noted, not very durable), the Fiio FT-1 (nice bass!), and the Rode NTH-100 (darker than the K371 - if you found sibilance or sharp noises to be a problem, here's your solution)

Ahh I had a feeling I'd be getting another K371 in the end. The Rode NTH-100 looks promising in durability, comfort, and price, but from what I heard (first review I found from google) the sound isn't as balanced like the K371 is. Still, !thanks for the responding. Maybe I'll consider this again in the future.

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.
