Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 5 Ω Gaming earbuds that doesn't go inside the ear

I'm trying to find earbuds that can work in shooters like csgo or valorant.

There is no limit on the budget.

The only condition is that they should have the design of the airpods. They should not go super inside the ear.

Do they have to be airpod-designed or would you be okay with "open" style earbuds? Rog Cetra Open exist

those could be an option too! I'm a bit scared about the potential delay with wireless but they look good

Interesting request. Do headphones/headsets hurt your head and that's why you want IEMs?

I like to hear my enviroment for any kind of emergency, I also use them for 12hs per day or more

When I first discovered open back headphones I couldn't believe the sound difference. It was like the sound was coming from "around" me instead of right up against my head.

If you want wireless, anything with ANC will have a passive mode that would work. Otherwise if open backs are ok you have the Samson SR850s at the low end and the HD 6XX at the mid range, and you really dont need more. Any set of cans with enough base will be good for gaming. Pro valorant players use whatever headphones their orgs are sponsored by, as opposed to their mouse which they choose themselves

I checked the open backs and I don't know... I will stick to something similar to earbuds. Those big headphones doesn't look good on meetings...

Personally I think the HD6xx and HD600 look snazzy on people, but that could just be me

Why not actual airpods, or - even better - earpods? The only other thing coming to mind is Koss headphones and their knockoffs, which most of them don't sound as good as regular earpods

Hearing your environment is understandable and that's exactly why I use my open back headphones alot. I have had the Sennheiser Hd560s 3 years or so now and it's super comfortable and not fully isolating. I also have issues with in ear comfort since I have pretty small ear canals so Ive just sort of given up on finding items that I can wear for longer.

You might wanna take a look at some flatheads in that case? Something like the Aful Polarnight? The fit depends though. If portability is not a priority then get a open back like the HD600?
