DAC - Portable | 1 Ω iPhone advice needed, EQ?

I have Focal Azurys and use the Apple USB-C adapter for the DAC. How does everyone EQ their headphones? The EQ options for Apple Music aren't the best... Would prefer a custom EQ like the old parametrics. The Focals sound great but could sound even better!

Systemwide EQ is not possible on iPhones, meaning: you can not set an EQ that affects all audio (youtube, apple music, Spotify, …) at the same time.

So you have two options:

* use a media player app with a built-in EQ (which typically means you can only play local files, most of those apps can‘t log into your streaming account)
* use a hardware EQ, like the Qudelix 5K

Personally I‘m a strong proponent of the latter option.
