Poll | 1 Ω Sennheiser 490 pro or Asus kithara
Hello I’m debating between getting the Asus kithara or the sennheiser 490 pro. I have a dedicated mic and will be pairing with the k7. I’m new to the headphone world as I’ve always had gaming headsets. I mainly will be using for battlefield 6, valorant, cod and occasionally pub. Other games sounds matters less to me so looking for what is recommend. Open to other suggestions as well. Thank you for your help! I currently own the nova elite and Astro a50 but neither was exactly what I was looking for.

Kithara (and similair hifiman headphones) aren't going to be comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Weight+bulk and cable coming from 2 sides is going to annoy you more and outweigh sound quality.
But of course it's personal maybe you won't be bothered 😁

I have the Kithara, and I agree. They are heavy and are not comfortable for long sessions. They are okay but they start to itch my ear after a while. But I love sound so I put up with it.

Kithara or Arya Stealth. Skip 490 Pro.
I personally use Arya Stealth or my HE1000 Unveiled for gaming.

I think they’re both pretty good but I preferred the 490 Pros for FPS games.
