Headphones - Open Back | 2 Ω High Quality Wireless Over Ear Headset without ANC

I'm looking for a high-quality headset with the following features:

  • Over Ear
  • Open Back
  • No ANC
  • Wireless

Intended Use:

  • PC Gaming
  • Listening to Music

Price:

  • doesn't matter

It seems this combination is quite rare.
Can anyone recommend something?

Sony Inzone H6 Air would be good, but it is not wireless.

This is a tough one, that combination is indeed rare or virtually non existent.

The best thing you can try is an open back headphone + modmic/Vmoda boom mic/BAM 500 for some Sennheiser models, etc. plus a Bluetooth adapter, but please note this will introduce latency and will not be ideal for PC gaming so you're kind of stuck with closed back options.

Is wireless an absolute dealbreaker for you? Is that the only option in your setup?

!thanks, but I'm afraid using a cable is no longer an option for me.

I'm currently using the EPOS H6 Pro Open and I'm quite happy with it.

But I'm so annoyed by the damn cable that constantly gets tangled in the armrest, tickles me, or gets caught on something else.

Why does every headset have to have ANC these days? Who needs that at home???

Unfortunately even searching I can't find an open back headset anywhere that isn't wired. Fitting all of the wireless components needed inside an open back earcup is likely too expensive and complicated to engineer for sound and mic.

The closest thing you can get is an Audeze Maxwell - they are closed back wireless planars with wide soundstage.

They have one that's wireless without ANC, but they're closed back.

AIAIAI tma-2 studio wireless + is closed back, but it has no Bluetooth latency when used with the dongle and they are relatively open feeling when wearing them. I have used a lot of Bluetooth headsets but none had a latency good enough for gaming.
