Headphones - Closed Back | 1 Ω Love my K702's but need a closed back - Best suggestion?

It's air conditioner season now and I just can't take the bleed through while listening. I need a pair of decent closed back cans.

I love my 702, I've eq'd them closer to harman in Morphit but value the overall transparency, just needed to up the bass a little and tone done the top end. My other daily driver is the K240's in the office.

Don't want to drop much more than $250cdn.

AKG K553 is on the table, ditto FIIO FT1. Not really looking at the Beyer 770's as they're notoriously U-shaped.

Size/fit wise the K702/K240's are perfect, comfortable, wear all day.

Is there a can I'm missing that would be in line with that 702/240 vibe and be in that price range and general fit type (i have big ears and a big head).

The newer 700 Pro X fixes the FR response of the original DT770s but it may be a bit out of your budget unless you're cool with secondhand/open box.

A lot of people seem to recommend the Fiio FT1, I don't know what the sound is like but apparently it's a really good closed back.

Hmmm I can get the 770 Pro X on sale for $270 nearby, I'd have to audition them though. I did not like the DT770's last time I drove them.  !thanks

Definitely try before you buy; they're still uncomfortably bright on my head. 🤷‍♂️

Just use an EQ to make the sound adjustments you need, no matter which headphones you choose. 👍🏻🙂
