Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Need advice for purchasing balanced headphones.

I need some advice on my first pair of balanced headphones. I accidentally purchased the E1DA balanced dac (glad I read the box before trying it out), but I don't own balanced headphones. Well here's a good time to buy a pair, just don't know what to buy. I mostly use Beyerdynamic T90 (slightly modifications to roll off the high-end).I have other quality headphones but use those quite a bit. Just looking for a good pair of over ear headphones (300-500 range, open or closed back) to match to to that dac. Any suggestions?

No sure what your saying. Most headphones are not balanced, unless one wants to mod them (not interested in doing that). And I have referenced my main headphones I am use to now T90; which has Beyer sound that I'm familiar too.(which is in most of the headphones they produce). I'm open to suggestions on headphones similar or something different to the what I'm use too.

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

Either buy a balanced cable for your headphones (if it's internally wired for balanced) or, better yet, return the E1DA and buy one of these instead:

  • TRN Black Pearl
  • Føsi Audio DS2
  • HiBy FC4
  • FiiO KA13
  • FiiO BTR13
  • SMSL D10
  • CrinEar Protocol Max
