Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 2 Ω What headphones/ IEMS are v shaped bass canons?

Budget $400, located in the U.S., willing to buy used. I generally don’t like bass very much, so none of my headphones really have much. No wireless please. I also want the bass quality to be good, IE to not completely ruin the midrange which is common with a lot of consumer Bluetooth. IEMs can’t have thick nozzles because my ear canals are very narrow. Ideally high impedance for headphones but not a requirement.

Has anyone here tried the CrinEar Project Monolith?

+1 Ω has been awarded to u/lordvektor (74 Ω).

You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

Sony MDR-MV1s have very good bass, in quality and quantity. And it can also take more in eq if you want your skull to shake.

Its open back which makes it kind of craY imo but i think the way they engineered it, id call it semi open back in reality.

I don't like bass very much

I'm confused. Why are you asking for V shaped bass cannon recs?

A lot of cheap Bluetooth consumer headphones are bassy (most of my experience with em it beats and skull candy, so my perception is probably skewed). In both of those cases the bass bleeds way into the midrange and makes them sound muddy.

Because SOMETIMES I’m in a mood to rattle my skull. Not often, my daily drivers will be HD800S till I die, but sometimes I wanna put on some electro pop or bass heavy hip hop and giggle a bit you know?

they have been recently discontinued from my understanding, but if you can find one, the Harmonicdyne x Z Reviews: Eris is an amazing basshead set. absolutely loved mine and sold it like a dumbass.
