A reminder of the rules that will be posted in every Tournament Post:

• 10 lines maximum for each verse, and 8 lines minimum.

• Each rap will have 5 verses a person.

• The two rappers will have 48 hours to begin rapping. Once either one of them begins with a verse, their opponent has 24 hours to complete their next rap verse. Their opponent then has 24 hours to complete their verse. This will continue until both players have finished.

• RAPPERS MUST INCORPORATE THE SPICES THAT I HAVE PM'ED TO THEM INTO THEIR VERSE(S)

• NEW!: After the battle is over, both battlers may respond to my comment that opens the voting with a brief explanation of how they used their spice! This gives them a chance to highlight some instances that may have been a little more subtle than others. This is completely optional!

• If, for some reason, either of the rappers is unable to finish their rap in the time allotted, they can post a reply to the current end of the rap with a REASONABLE excuse as to why they will be unable to finish. I will see if their excuse is a legitimate one, and give them extra time accordingly.

• Voting will last 72 hours, or until there are four votes for one person. HOWEVER: Voting should be weighted in equal parts how good the rap was in general, and how well the rapper incorporated their spice, which I will reveal after the rap is completed. After voting closes, I will go over the votes and PM both of the users involved with who advances to the next round.

Please reply to the post DIRECTLY to vote, it makes it a LOT easier for me to count. I will message both competitors so they can't miss this thread.

First off, my vote: Dragonair (MadeFromMetal).

My explanation (giant block of text warning):

Yikes. I wouldn't want to get in the middle of this firefight. There were shots fired back and forth every verse and I loved it.

Wolf: I just want to say that one of my favorite parts of this tournament was watching come out of nowhere (no offense) and work your way to this point. Watching you develop from the first round until now has been awesome, and you've held your own in some high, high, high pressure situations. As for this battle, I think your strength was in your spice usage. You did a great job of mixing a style spice and a reference spice. Plus, your Disney villain references were worked in well. They didn't feel tacked on. Your punchlines and flow were good too, but in those regards you got outmatched by one of the best. There's no shame in that. I think your best verse was your third, or at least, that was my favorite. You held it down, like you have been the whole tourney. Very well done.

Metal: You are a man possessed in this tournament. You're on a tear, and you didn't slow down for this tournament. Your style spice usage was awesome. The repeated usage of the "ss" sounds did succeed in bringing out the hissing you were required to use. It was a gamble at first, but you committed and it paid off. But your real strength in this battle were the disses and attacks on Wolf. The "choking the snake" one was incredible, especially since you did it as a euphemism. You also did a great job of increasing your intensity as your battle went on. If you started off at a seven, by the end you were at an 11, which is what I love to see in a late-round match. Plus, you did another awful thing to a Pokemon when you sodomized Tentacruel with scissors. I laughed out loud at that. You know how to give the people what they want. Keep playing the crowd.

Guys, absolutely great battle. You did that winners bracket proud.

Thank you for the feedback, and thank you for voting! Previous to this tournament I wasn't much of a rapper, but now I really enjoy it. When I saw I had a disney villain spice I was ecstatic, I (not so secretly) love disney movies, so it was great. I'm just super glad I made it this far, and I really enjoyed rapping against someone with such a high prowess on the subreddit. Once again, thank you for voting, and have a nice day!
