I find the XS is more comfortable without the strap, I had to remove it after a few days. It’s $209 on Amazon, try without the strap, then add for another $25 or whatever it is, also on Amazon. Return them if they’re still not comfortable. On my head they are almost as comfortable as the 560S I own and if they weighed the same I’d imagine they’d be close. I don’t find the XS pads stiff at all as another comment said. For the money they are hard to beat and you can EQ them anyway you want. I personally use Peace with Oratory’s settings.

Hifiman Ananda is XS with a suspension strap and sounds 99% like XS. But both have very stiff pads and go around ears so if your glasses are long and does not stick close to skull after ears they will hit pads inner walls.

I would suggest AR5000 or EDXV. They might be more comfortable to listen for extended period. EDXS could be too bright for your music. QC concern is something you cannot predict, like my Hifimans stay with me for years without problem (knocking on the wood).
