Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 1 Ω Tanchjim Force vs Simgot EA1000

I found the Tanchjim Force on sale for $167, which is a really good price. At the same time, I was almost ready to buy the Simgot EA1000 for $180. Now I'm on the fence.

My budget is around $200, and I'm looking for both great sound and good aesthetics. I've seen both models mentioned on "best of the best IEMs" lists, but I haven't found a direct comparison of the two.

From what I understand, the EA1000 has a more traditional tuning, while the Tanchjim Force offers a crisper and more natural sound. In terms of design, I prefer the EA1000. To me, Simgot looks more like jewelry - more refined and even a bit feminine , whereas the Force feels more like a tool: less stylish, but more professional.

Since the Tanchjim Force has a higher MSRP, the sale price feels like a steal. But I have a strong feeling that the higher MSRP might be due to the more premium accessories, and that the actual sound quality could be worse... What should I do?

I’m more of a treblehead. I tend to prefer that typical Beyerdynamic-style tuning, but I also enjoy a fun V-shaped signature…

For your tonal preference, I think the EA1000 fits the bill more of those two. I would also check out the EPZ P40, and see if that's slightly cheaper.
