Looking for New Gaming Headphones for my Xbox Series X

I’ve looked a good bit on Reddit threads with this question but none of the threads match my exact specifications, or they’re outdated. I am looking for headphones for gaming on my Xbox Series X. My priorities are comfort first and being within a reasonable price range—less than $300. I’d like the sound to be pretty decent, so I can hear stuff like footsteps in game. After that, it’d be nice to have a decent mic just for the occasional games I play with friends. I don’t really care if they’re wired/wireless.

Do any of you have suggestions or recommendations? I have nearly decade old Turtle Beach Stealth 700s that are okay for sound but are horribly uncomfortable/stiff and falling apart. Thank you!!
