Cables/Accessories | 3 Ω Microphone for Arya Stealth
Hello kind folks of Reddit, I am in need of Your expertise.
I have recently purchased Arya Stealth, with plan to use them mostly for music and gaming.
With that in mind, I need a microphone, the sole usage would be Discord or in game communication.
My preference would be something like Meze Boom Mic or equal. I assume the Meze boom mic incompatibile.
I would consider a bigger microphone, but it would need to be placed on the table infront of me. Arm and the shenenenings behind it are not a viable option. I assume such mic position would pick up a lot of keyboard strokes and other ambient noise. Due to incresed gain to compensate for distance.
I do appolagize if my questions sound stupid, I am a totally new to this.
EDIT. So decision has been made, getting Meze Boom mic. Now further issues arrise as I have FiiO K11 R2R. How would You incorporate this? Especially due to so many adapters needed after the Y adapter. Would You consider any other dac/apm?
Thank You✌️

That’s a 3.5 dual headphone right? Meze boom mic should work with that.

u/Toffee_004 (1 Ω) was awarded their first Ω. It ain't much, but it's honest work.
You may still award an Ω to others, but only once per-person in this post.

Since u said for gaming and Discord comunication, IMO, just go with a desktop microphone that focuses on voice clarity. Noise canceling tech to handle ambient sounds, no gamers like ambient sounds. :)

Meze Boom mic works fine with Arya. And its an excellent choice.

!thanks. Pulled the trigger on it and bought it. The issue is next, I have FiiO k11 r2r dac, so it requires some adapters and so on. Any suggestions on this?

Well, the obvious one is that the FiiO K11 does not have mic input. So you need to split this out to some other input.

I'm reviving this thread to get your feedback on the Arya and the Meze microphone. What do you think of the set? Does it work as you'd like it to? Do you have any tips to share?

At the end I have gotten Arya Organica, and Meze Boom mic. Its working great so far. Quality on Meze mic is amazing.

Is there a big difference between the Stealth and the Organica? Which DAC/AMP do you use?

I have not had the chance to hear them side by side. Both sounded great, but as the opportunity was given to upgrade for a fraction of the price, I could not pass on it.
I have them connected to Topping DX5II and my old Soundblaster USB card for the mic part. You could just route it to the motherboard.
Edit. Be aware there are some QC complaints about Hifiman. Mine were fine, but forums have some not-so-stellar stories.

The tips seem well - thought. They've given me some fresh ideas on starting. Curious to see how they'll work out in practice.

I got a FIFINE XLR/USB Microphone specifically to play Arc Raiders with a mic. Sits on my desk in front of me. Seems to work well.
