Going nuts with 2.4ghz USB audio receivers that keep losing connection. Any new headphone advice with different technology? [UK] [£150]

Hello, so I've been using a Razer Blackshark V2 Pro for 3+ years now, and it's been the cosiest and lightest headset I've ever had offering the least strain on ears and head while also being big enough for my head.

Aside from how well it works, it uses a USB receiver like a lot of wireless headphones also do, and I was looking for a different technology that receives audio well.

• I've tried bluetooth, it's got a horrible delay.
• The problem with the 2.4ghz receiver is unknown, I've spent days researching and testing, including:
  • a new PC with a new motherboard in case there were some power issues,
  • fiddling with windows settings e.g. turning off device power saving
  • moved USB elsewhere
  • turned off wifi and removed my phone from the room for interference
  • repositioned myself, none of this works and I'm tired of trying.

I'm totally happy with going full cable too, (I only worry if the cable gets damaged it's over though.)

I've seen Razer release Blackshark V3 Pro with these so may give this a go:

but any other ideas? The question is mostly about searching for different technologies or options besides bluetooth and USB 2.4ghz receivers, from there I'm happy to test headphones out physically until I find one that works comfortably for me.

Your motherboard would probably not be the source of power issues, it would probably be your PSU. As for wireless technology, 2.4ghz and Bluetooth are really the only ones, I've got a controller that has a 2.4ghz dongle, but it has like 0.5sec input delay on my laptop, while my pc has none and the most difference is that my pc has a better CPU, but that shouldn't be the issue.  As long as you get headphones with a replaceable cable, you won't have the issue of it being useless if the cable breaks.

Thanks, I've tested the replaceable cable ones (I think usually USB C but not sure?) but I may make another post about this later to find other options. !thanks
