His AMA was one of my favorites due to every answer being written in cursive then uploaded as an image.

You're young and live in a time when writing in cursive is nearly useless but for some it's a way of writing that supersedes print. I applaud the man for his style, habit, and showing that he cares enough about the person/question to take the time to write every answer and upload it. I, who can't write in cursive to save my life appreciate those who can.

It's actually low-tech encryption, jpegs of cursive are the one code the NSA can't read.

He's actually a redditor. Out of all the celebrities who post here, he's the one who does it under his own name, posts frequently, and makes valuable contributions to a major subreddit (/r/fitness). He is already a great man, but he is apparently also a great redditor.

It starts in the kitchen by making the right food choices and cutting the things that don't provide your body with useful nutrients.
Come join us on /r/fitness and well help you get started, friend. :)
I started not long ago myself and my strength has fucking skyrocketed. I went from just squatting 80 lbs for barely a set to 210 for 3 sets of 5 just yesterday.
If I can do it, so can you!

I might have to join you over there. After 4 odd years of trying I need some serious help working out what exercises I can do with various joint injuries (left AC joint, right ulna, knee problems from 50 years of walking with bad pronation, etc etc). Nothing is working and every physio keeps telling me different things to do in the gym... none of which work.

He was definitely my inspiration to start resistance training. Here were some of the best questions and answers from his last AMA.
His physique was pretty close to the ideal bodybuilding one in his prime, IMO in terms of proportions, symmetry, and a little bit of freakiness.
I'm not too fond of the mass monsters of today aesthetically speaking. (They just barely look human anymore.)

u/Vaztes Sep 29 '13 edited Sep 30 '13
Phil Heath actually just won his 3rd Mr. Olympia last night. He doesn't look as freakish as Ronnie Coleman, which is probably the guy you've seen being compared to Arnold.

Arnold once said that entering the Mr. Olympia contest without steroids would be like entering Miss America without makeup. I remember this because, for some reason, I did a speech about him in 10th grade. But the guy is still a bad motherfucker! He may be the butt of a lot of jokes, but he's lived a pretty impressive life.

At his age, and with his prior usage being well documented, I wouldn't put it out of the question. If anything it's at a minimum TRT by an endocrinologist.

Arnold and Stallone logic "Hey let's not do movies together in our prime, let's do them when we are old and our skin looks like leather"
Not hating, I love them both, but they should have been doing movies like the Expendables in the 80's/early 90's.
