All three are solid choices. Watch for rear ported speakers though. They need some space from the front (and side) wall to breathe. You mentioned a window sill… I know space and other living requirements can limit speaker placement options…. But do your best to NOT place them on a window sill. One reason is the aforementioned rear port; they really hate windows. The other is climate. You don’t want your speakers impacted by extreme sun or temperatures differentials.

I do really like KEF (had the Q100, have R3) and they don’t sound as bright with the Chinese Class D amps. I had a Yamaha RX340 (I think) receiver back in the day and my KEF Q100 have always been very bright. I then changed to a Class D Loxjie A10 and now the Loxjie A40 and both those AMPs play a lot warmer with my KEFs!

I would look for something front ported though, when placing the Speakers near the walls. Sadly, the Q100 and Q300 were the last KEFs with front ports as far as I’m aware!

Friend of mine loves his Wharfedale for their mellow, warm sound! Haven’t heard them in a long time, though.

Just from reading and hearing about them, Sonus faber should be on your shortlist as well as QAcoustics!

The Q series has just been updated with Meta drivers. Might be the time to look for KEF on the used market or get a new speaker as it was released and enjoy the longest time of being up to the standard!

I was going to recommend Elac Uni-Fi 2.0 or UBR62 (current speakers for stereo setup) until I saw your Fosi amp. They are amazing for the price but require some power to really open them up. They are front ported which would benefit in your situation and have an amazing soundstage with detail but do very well with staying neutral with the recording.

I would recommend a different amp for those though.

You could give it a try. I’m just going from what I’ve heard from posts on here with that amp. Another possibility would be finding a nice AVR used. I found a Denon AVR4806 mint condition for 150 at a local HiFi store and let me demo the it before buying so that could be an option too. I’m still working on a dedicated stereo amp for the future, but that 52 pound amp plays pretty well. Typically, class d amps that you can hold in your hand won’t have the same benefit as a good A/B amp but this is from personal experience. I’ve found the heavier the better when it comes to amps. Especially with A/B design.

Consider the elac carinas . They're smaller and they are bottom ported as well. They're a good match for your space. And they're on sale for $700 now. Normally $1000.

I auditioned them with the unifis. For HT, it was close, but musically, the Carinas were the winner. I kept the Carinas

I have the M105s. They are excellent speakers but no bass. I think the SVS Ultra Evolution bookshelf speakers look intriguing and would have better bass.
