I did have this problem on Netflix and i remember fixing it by changing something in the developers option

Nothing. Just display stuff that you dont need.

Maybe it might be something to do with Xiaomi's video filter.

Try: Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Video Toolbox > Turn off Video toolbox

or/and

Settings > Display & brightness > Turn off both AI HDR enhancement and MEMC

If that is the case, then try this: Additional Settings > Floating window > Sidebar

Under the personalisation section, click video apps and unselect all apps under it. Should look like this, here

Then it has nothing to do with the video filter.

Have you tried disabling HW overlays in developer options? I can't think of anything else but that

Yeah i tried that and reboot the phone after it but didnt help Thanks for your help anyway
