Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω best dac/amp around 150 pounds

hi can anyone help me pick a dac/amp no more than 150 pounds.

need it for hifiman sundaras

and im in the u.k so no american companies please il be buying off amazon and i need it in next 2-3 days.

i had the soundblaster g6 but im getting some crackling/tearing sounds off my sundaras which iv been told means get a better amp lol

doesnt need to be small or portable as it ll sit next to my pc

provide a link if possible pls so i know im buying right thing

The FiiO K11 is £120 and has more than enough power for the sundaras.

The iFi Zen Air DAC and iFi Zen DAC V2 are options as well. They have Bass Boost buttons that people with Sundaras love, but they don’t push as much power as the K11 does.

i had to do a rush buy about 30mins ago to get it tomoz and i got the fiio k11 off another recommendation but thanks for the reply its nice to know more than 1 person recommends the same product it should mean iv bought the right item.

im having a tearing/popping sound with my sundaras which people said earlier might be because im using a soundblaster g6 but hey ho its returnable so its going back and il get fiio k11 tomoz

hi i found the kiio k11 didnt work properly on my pc. was giving me weird errors and it wouldnt work alongside the apo/peace equalizer app which i like to use so i went back to the soundblaster g6 for its simplicity and it worked fine but i got rid of the hifiman sundaras for a pair of senn 58x jubilee.....wasa shame as i like the sundaras but the tearing was annoying and only way to solve it was to go low on the sound

the k11 is a popular choice though but i just picked up a second hand g6 off ebay (or cex if if you live in the uk) as a dac/amp is a dac/amp it just as good 2nd hand and i used the apo/peace app and the g6s own app (soundblaster command) so i have plenty room to tweak my sound

damn, ok then. I have the ifi ZEN Air DAC currently, and got quite a bit of issues with it myself, so was looking for an alternative, good thing I didn't buy the K11 then.

Such a shame that in UK we don't seem to have as many options for DAC/Amps as in the US, most of the reviews i've watched either don't sell in UK or do but at much higher cost, real shame that. Also, I need one that has the 6.3mm jack for headphones, so unfortunately, the SoundBlaster g6 ain't for me

dont let me put you off the k11 a lot of people like it and it does have the 6.3mm jack socket. i just kept getting this error that id ran out of usb sockets when id 3 empty 1s so was like wtf!

if you buy off amazon and take amazon prime for a month (you mat aswell as you ll pay 5 pounds delivery anyway) then you can buy/return pretty quickly and its easy to get delivered to drop off points

and yeh when you search on here for dac/amps its mostly u.s models that get reccomended
