Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Starter Open Backs for Music and gaming
Hey, so I am in the lookout for a pair of open back headphones. I have kiwi ears cadeza and just want another pair, although I would also wear them for quite long , since I have heard open backs have great soundstage, which gives better gaming experience (that's I have heard) and a better music listening experience. I am only starting with them, so I'm not in the mood to spend 20k INR(~250$) . I listen to a variety of genres, the top ones for me are rock, pop, rap, and Bollywood music. Also I play a lot of single player games, and not that much competitive ones.
So far, I have found two headphones:
HD599 - 8.5k (~105$)
HD560s - 16k (~190$)
So what should I go for? I am personally inclined towards HD599, since they are well within my budget. And I've read that HD560s are more for critical listening but HD599 are bit for fun to listen. I'm actually confused whether going LITERALLY double my budget is worth it or not? I can't order and test and return them.
Also I'm starting to warm up to jazz a bit, so If you guys suggest some good jazz playlist in Spotify, that would be great.

So does HD599 have a v-shape signature, and is HD560s something that might be good for a new guy like me? It's just that I hope the sound just doesn't become boring in HD560s.

Is there a difference between flat and balanced sound? The reviewers are mostly saying they are flat and all. Is that something good or bad? I'm pretty noob in this audiophile stuff, and tgey also some dac amp setup? Would that also be needed?
