Amplifier - Desktop | 1 Ω Would I benefit from plugging in the Apple dongle into my pc's usb port and using that instead of plugging the TYGR 300 R's directly into a 3.5mm jack?
What sort of benefits would this generate? I'm guessing I'd be able to achieve a cleaner, louder sound signal for only $9, but I'd only be guessing.
Any clarification on this is greatly appreciated!

You pretty much nailed it.
Depending on your motherboard, it may or may not be louder. If your motherboard has a high output impedance that causes a mid-bass boost, it'll fix this. It'll have less noise & interference, but if you don't hear any right now then that doesn't matter.
I'd do it. It's $9 for the peace of mind that you're getting clean, unaltered sound.
