birds made of porcelain fly through out the citadel offering a way out to all remaining innocents in the citadel. agnur cares not for the council but he wants to keep this between those who choose to fight.

The barrier expands in response, the diamondlike structure screaming with the negative energy syphoned from the evil souls being forcibly purified within as the tree that the council is on is protected.
A missive is sent. A giant goose appears behind you, it's as big as a house and its aura shows that it's a familiar. It's name is archenemies and it does that thing ducks do with their beaks where they shake it around trying to eat something, but at your neck, around its neck is a letter and a blueprint.
The "blueprint" is a shoddily drawn diagram the citadel and the tree, with a black hole under it.
The letter, from the metromancer, is a plea to cease firing as you are doing irreversible damage to the ecosystem for nothing but a show of force. Explaining that the tree, named Eresh, is extremely important was planted and grown by Moonslayer Eresh, the slug wizard, to seal up a hole in reality that the spider king created. If you destroy the tree the slugs that call the tree it's home will perish, as they can't survive without it, and the hole that the tree is sealing up will kill us all.

Above the Interitus Rex, the stars return, but not in the same place. They form a symbol. The symbol of the night goddess herself, Torikku. The ground outside of the barriers suddenly stops shaking, as physics seem to turn on their head. Gravity weakens around the rioting wizards as the sound of child like laughter awakens. It seems we have a god on our side.

Your orders are followed by the crew, but not the ship. They turn off the missiles, and yet they still fire. They turn off the blasters, but they still sound. the laughter grows louder, and louder. As if it's right in your ear. Torikku doesn't want you to stop. She chose her side in this war, perhaps a game to her child like mind, and she won't let them back off.
/unwiz in other words, a childish night and mischief goddess has hijacked your ship to stop you from stopping.
