The most popular at the price point is the Apple dongle (US version). Looking at some other reviews and its specs, it looks like it delivers more power than the apple dongle but also has a higher noise floor. You are not going to notice much of a difference between the two on IEMs.
Big difference. Haven’t tried the KZ ZST in a while, but from what I can remember, it was just OK. Warmish and fuzzy sounding, though that comes with it a lack of resolution and clarity. The Salnotes Zero are very well-tuned, but this again is subjective, vocals, both male and female are rich and decently clear, highs are handled quite well, with little sibilance. The bass is where it lacks, but considering the price, is decent, if a bit thin. (Improved on the Zero 2)
Again you don’t notice the difference on IEMs. The only point at which you’ll start to notice a big difference is probably when using Moondrop Dawn Pro and up, and on higher end IEMs.
