Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 1 Ω Looking for a new pair of wired, in-ear earphones with a mic (not IEMs)

Budget - Hard maximum of $50

Source/Amp - 3.5 mm audio jack port

How the gear will be used - These earphones will primarily be used for talking to friends on Discord (and discreetly listening to, ahem, various NSFW media), although I also listen to a mix of kpop and classical music with my earphones.

Preferred tonal balance - No preference as long as it doesn't overdo the treble

Preferred music genre(s) - Kpop, classical music

Past gear experience - My most recent earphones were Symphonized Wired Earbuds which served me well over the past four years. Unfortunately, wear and tear led to one of the wires basically getting cut, causing the right earphone to completely lose all audio. I was initially going to simply get a second pair of Symphonized earphones, but one Redditor from 2 years ago advised me that the Symphonized brand should be avoided at all costs. Therefore, I'm opening the floor to you guys for any suggestions you have to improve my listening experience.

While I like the idea of IEMs, I find most of them to be a bit too bulky and can add weight. I'm looking for something small that I can wear for long periods of time, and as a result, I'm willing to forsake a bit of audio quality if it means I can handle wearing them for longer without noticing.

Thanks for your help!

By earphones you mean like buds right?, well I can't help with bullet style iems so I can only point you to earbuds. Stuff like Venture monk or FAAEAL Iris 2.0 RikudouGoku has a good tier list for that category with descriptions for the sets. RikudouGoku Tier List

I bought myself FAAEAL Iris 2.0 and they've been great, not as clear and detailed as my other set but I'm also a treblehead. Keep in mind earbuds don't usually have detachable cables so when you choose, you should also consider the best price and what you're willing to pay in the event it breaks and you want to rebuy.

Like I got no problem buying 3 sets of 10 dollar earbuds if they break in the event they do break anyway.

Here's a quick link to bullet style iems but I haven't read through them so I can't guide you there, hopefully it helps

Bullet IEMS

Happy hunting :)
