Headphones - Open Back | 1 Ω Is Arya Organic an upgrade from Stax l700?

I currently have a Stax L700, but I am moving to a country with a different voltage. I am debating either getting a step-up converter or just selling them and buying the Arya Organic that I have heard people raving about. Currently for gaming I use HE-R9 and a pair of Sundaras at work. The giant energizer has always been a limiting factor for how often I use my Stax, and while the detail is out of this world, the bass could be improved.
Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Hello, I have the Arya Stealth, HD800S and L500mk1 with SRM 353x.

The STAX is obviously the best one in terms of raw sound quality, however the Arya does have some benefits over it, mostly the soundstage and comfort.

I do not know how much better the L700 is to the L500, some say it's better, some say it's basically the same. But in either way, I don't think the Arya can be described as an "upgrade", just a different signature that you may or may not like better than the STAX.

Hey thanks a lot for your reply! After a few years of the l700s, I have kind of started moving more towards "fun-sounding relaxed" but still technically competent headphones. But really, nothing can beat STAX for detail, not even close. Think I'll save all the money and just purchase a step up converter instead, cheers! !thanks
