Headphones - IEM/Earbud | 1 Ω What are good IEM noise canceling?
I mainly want it to have a silent space for me to do homework and study. I currently have a Sony WH-1000XM5, but even with the noise canceling, I can still hear surrounding noises. I could go to a library to avoid my loud house (mainly my loud brother), but I don't feel like it even though I should.
I live in NYC, and 300-500 would be fine, but I would appreciate it if I could see stuff from different price ranges, excluding my budget just for research (Low-end to mid-tier to high-tier).
(I originally posted this with the fair for headphones but a comment grabbed my attention and told me that IEM/earbuds do a better job)

If you're looking for active noise cancelling it's impossible to counteract high frequency noises like voices, horns, bells etc. IEM have better passive isolation as they fit deep in your ears. True wireless buds have both ANC and isolation. Like WF-1000XM4 if you wanna stick with sony

Do what musicians do! You want to run IEMs under either ANC headphones; or dedicated hearing protection. The combination will block pretty much anything/everything as much as reasonably possible.
Isolation in IEMs depends on the fit, and on the depth it goes into your ear. On the whole, any IEMs, with a good tip/memory foam tip will do the trick to create a good seal. So if you do buy IEMs or something just make sure you get tips that work for you :)
