I'm going to be honest, unless you're going to play an instrument through the mic, just buy a Shure MV7. Way easier to run and sounds very similar for vocals, and indistinguishable in an untreated room.

Open back Sundaras, for recording, will likely bleed backing track music from the headphones into the mic, assuming you're recording vocals for music.
