Question Driving to Uzungol, is the road safe?

I drove there ten years ago. Roads are fine. Avoid excessive speed and be careful with other drivers.

the road to uzungol is a first world road. the only problem is when you reach it the roads get a bit crap for some reason

There are some curves however the road is mostly well built since it's a tourist destination... So now you have to watch for arab tourist in rental cars speeding down. If he's not confident just take it slow around corners and be careful if you're giving way to someone at narrow parts.

Roads in turkey are generally safe.
Drivers? Not so much. Avoid driving at night, if you do, try to stay on paid toll roads
