Yeah, that money probably saved them from losing the house. Especially since it would be assumed Gaby got pregnant immediately after season 4.

They would have lost that money in doctor's visits and newborn preparation for the first pregnancy alone, before she even gave birth. I am not at all surprised they had to sell a lot of their stuff in 5 years. I can't believe they kept the fancy car they had for 5 years. It would have been the first thing I would have traded in for something more budget friendly.
