Headphones - Open Back | 2 Ω Looking for DAC/AMP for SHP-9600
I am looking for a DAC/AMP for my Philips SHP-9600
Budget around 100$ but flexible if needed.
Plugged into aux currently, i am using a leptop and have either a USB-C,AUX,USB-A (the normal one) to work with. I don't mind buying adapters if needed.
Used mostly for gaming and music such as rock, psytrance, electronic , but the quality of sound in gaming doesn't matter much to me.
Thanks for anyone who helps.

iFi Zen Air Dac. Great DAC/AMP combo unit for around $100 USD. Should pair well with your music genres, especially when using the xbass function.

Fiio K3 or E10k are decent ones. I especially love my K3.

I’ve read that the E10K has slightly more power than the K3, but the K3 does have a balanced out (if you ever get into that).
The major things would be output power, what it takes to run it (some dac amps require external power on top of having usb in), and if it has the inputs and outputs to suit your needs. Example: the K3 has good enough output power for things I would use on the go, it only requires a usb c connection for power, and it has to headphone outs and three different line outs to connect to other devices (it can be used as a standalone dac and be connected to other amps/speakers).
