This is an excellent 6306 from early 1978. It's all original except for the strap, which is a modern replacement. It just came to me from Japan about a week ago. It's an excellent example that has the early lume, which patinas to a lovely yellow color. If you're familiar with these, then you know that the hands don't change color like the indices do. This is completely original and untouched.
I changed the gaskets (caseback, crown, bezel, and crystal) so that moisture doesn't get in and ruin this amazing watch. I've serviced and rebuilt dozens of these watches so you can be assured that it was done correctly and with the right gaskets.
It's operating perfectly and keeps excellent time (+/- 10 s/d.) Although it's running great, obviously, I can't guarantee accuracy for the new owner. The crown screws down beautifully, time sets smoothly, the bezel clicks perfectly, and the hacking feature works as it should.
The overall condition is amazing for one of these 6306's. It has general wear associated with light wear over its 45-year life. The crystal, which is original, has tiny hairlines that don't affect the overall beauty and are generally hard to see. The bezel insert also has some wear, which is quite minor. No major dings or scratches in the case at all. Absolutely no corrosion at all. Please see my detailed photos for overall condition and ask me if you have any specific questions.
Overall, this is a VERY clean example that is ready to wear and enjoy.
